Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

Minimal standards from the Act apply to products sold by DataDot NZ Ltd. Where provisions of the Act apply, terms will be read subject to the application and in case of any conflict, these provisions will apply. The CGA does not apply to business customers and therefore business customers agree that where products are purchased for the purpose of a business, the Act will not apply.

DataDot NZ Ltd adheres to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA).

 

Return Policy

All returns and their associated costs will be at the customer’s expense, except when the basis of the return is covered by the CGA & FTA. If your return meets policy stipulations, please contact us directly BEFORE returning your item as there are alternative ways of undertaking this which are situation specific. If we are not contacted first, this may result in unnecessary delays or claim rejection. Proof of purchase will be required.

 

Refunds

Refunds will be given at the discretion of company management.

 

Warranty Policy

DataDot NZ Ltd’s warranty policy covers our products for 90 days from the purchase date. Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Damage or faults occurring as a result of misuse, accident, or wear and tear is not covered by our warranty policy. We require notification of Dead On Arrival (DOA) items within 14 days of them leaving our Warehouse.

If you feel that your purchase has a fault that is covered under warranty please contact us, including as much detail as possible (including photos of the issue if possible or applicable) so that we can assess the problem and advise you of a solution.

 

Address Details

If a dispatched order is found to be misaddressed by DataDot NZ Ltd, then we will happily accept the responsibility of re-delivery, replacing or refunding the order. If the Customer is found to have provided incorrect or insufficient address details, then DataDot NZ Ltd will not refund or resend the order, nor will DataDot NZ Ltd accept any responsibility for correcting delivery; this will be borne solely by the Customer.

 

Banking Details

The choice of payment through Bank Transfer is provided to DataDot NZ Ltd Customers. If you, the Customer credits money to the incorrect bank account number and the correct number was provided to the Customer, DataDot NZ Ltd will not accept any responsibility for correcting payment nor will the order be dispatched.

 

Order Changes

Once orders are submitted and payment has cleared, no changes to these orders will be accepted or actioned. Please ensure you check carefully that all items and supplied details are correct when you complete checkout.

 

Correction of Errors and Inaccuracies; Limitations on Quantity

Whilst DataDot NZ Ltd makes every reasonable effort to present accurate information on this web site, the information may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). Please note that such errors, inaccuracies or omissions may relate to product description, pricing and availability. We also reserve the right to limit quantities (including after you have submitted your order). We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

 

Colours

We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products shown on this web site. However, because the colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

 

Communication from DataDot NZ Ltd

As a condition of purchase from us we reserve the right to email you product alerts and special offers that we believe may be of interest to you. We respect your right not to receive these communications and if you advise us at the time of placing your order that you do not wish to receive these special offer and alert emails we will disable that functionality for your account. We assure you that once you have advised us of you wish to unsubscribed we will immediately remove your name from the communication list and will no longer send you these special offers and alerts, unless you choose to re-subscribe at a later date.

 

Privacy Policy

DataDot NZ Ltd will under no circumstances sell, rent or give your private information, including name, address or email to third parties. Your name and address information is collected solely for the purpose of the delivery of goods. Individual users are not identified in Website statistics. These statistics are used to improve the DataDot NZ Ltd site and to monitor traffic.
